Friends & Social
The Social menu: friend codes, adding and chatting with friends, the achievements timeline, gifts, and what lights the Social button.
Overview
Social is the tab on the bottom rail with the 
icon. It is one sheet with five tabs — FRIENDS, TIMELINE, LEADERBOARD, GIFTS and GUILD — and it is where everything multiplayer lives: adding friends, chatting, gifting stickers and potions, trading pets, racing the hiscores and running a guild. The Invite Friends screen opens from the bottom of the FRIENDS tab.
Your friend code
Every account gets a permanent friend code made of 8 letters and digits, drawn from 23456789ABCDEFGHJKMNPQRSTVWXYZ — there is never a 0, 1, I, L, O or U, so a code can be read out loud without confusion. The game shows it as ARC-ABCD-2345-style groups; friends can type it with or without the dashes and in any case.

Adding friends
- Open the FRIENDS tab, type a name or a code into the Name or ARC-XXXX-XXXX… box and press LOOKUP. Searching by name finds any player whose name contains what you typed; a code finds exactly one player.
- Send a request. The other player sees it at the top of their FRIENDS tab with ACCEPT / DECLINE. Only one pending request can exist between two players at a time; if you both request each other, accepting one clears the other.
- Friendship is mutual — you appear in each other's lists — and lists are capped at 100 friends. A request is refused if either list is full ("Friend list is full (100/100). Remove a friend before adding more.").
- Guildmates can be added straight from the guild roster (+ FRIEND), and raid teammates from the team lobby.
Your friends list
- Filter chips ONLINE / ALL / BLOCKED, a search box ("Search friends by name…") and an n/100 capacity chip that turns gold at 80% and red when full.
- A friend counts as online if they have been active in the last 5m. Online friends sort to the top, then everyone A→Z.
- Tap a friend to open their profile; the tile also offers CHAT, and a menu with UNFRIEND, BLOCK and REPORT.
Blocking
Blocking removes the friendship and stops that player from sending you requests or messages; they cannot tell they were blocked (they simply see "Cannot add this player."). The BLOCKED filter lists everyone you have blocked with an UNBLOCK button.
Chat
Press CHAT on any friend to open a private conversation. Messages are up to 280 characters; you must be friends (and not blocked either way) to send. Unread messages light the Social button and show a count on the friend's tile.

Timeline
The TIMELINE tab is a feed of your friends' achievements, newest first. Every entry is a friend's name plus one of the lines below. Your own achievements appear on their timelines the same way.

Gifts tab
GIFTS gathers everything friends can hand each other, with a TODAY card showing how much of each daily allowance you have used (all daily counters reset together at midnight UTC).

Notifications
The Social button on the rail lights up whenever any of these is waiting for you:

Tips
- Your friend code is also your invite code — sharing the invite link adds new players and pays gems.
- Ask for stickers early in the day: the 1-per-day allowance and the pet-trade allowance reset at midnight UTC, not 24 hours after use.
- Sharing a Ballin Potion doubles its length for you (10m → 20m) and costs nothing extra — always share.
- Joining a guild unlocks free ball gifts and account-wide perks; it needs the Guilds milestone (M5) in the Marquee.
