Charms
The charm family of pet items — Coin Charm and Jackpot Charm — with exact effects, stacking maths, how to equip and remove them, and which charms were retired.
A charm is a pet item — a small object a pet wears in its single item slot to add a bonus that does not depend on the pet's own ability. Only the charms below still drop; the rest of the family has been retired or made inert (see the bottom of the page). For the whole wearable catalogue, including the Gold Tooth, Portal Compass, Lucky Penny, Crimson Die and Echo Relic, see Pet Items.
The charms
| Charm | Rarity | Bonus | Exactly what it does | Stacking | Where it drops |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| COMMON | +5% Coin Gain | Coins from every bin landing pay 5% more. | Diminishing returns — each extra copy is worth less; the total can never reach +100% | BALL RUSH (the ARCADE machine's MEGA WIN) — any stake. Per falling ball: 0.0067% (1 in 15,000) at ×1, 0.087% (1 in 1,150) at ×200 | |
| LEGENDARY | +2% Jackpot Chance | Diamond bins are 2% more likely to hit, and the Bonus Wheel's JACKPOT slice is 2% wider. | Diminishing returns — each extra copy is worth less; the total can never reach +100% | BALL RUSH (the ARCADE machine's MEGA WIN) — stake ×10+. Per falling ball: 0.0004% (1 in 240,323) at ×10, 0.0447% (1 in 2,237) at ×200 |
Stacking several copies
Charms on different equipped pets stack with diminishing returns: the game rolls each copy separately and asks whether at least one hit, so the total is 1 − (1 − bonus)copies. Two copies are worth less than double, and no number of copies reaches +100%.
| Charm | Stat | 1 copy | 2 copies | 3 copies | 5 copies | 10 copies |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coin Gain | +5% | +9.75% | +14.26% | +22.62% | +40.13% | |
| Jackpot Chance | +2% | +3.96% | +5.88% | +9.61% | +18.29% |
How equipping works
- Open the BAG → PET ITEMS, tap the charm, then USE. Pick a pet and CONFIRM — the confirm button arms for a few seconds and must be tapped again, because the step cannot be undone.
- Tapping a pet's empty item slot in the Pets menu opens the bag straight onto PET ITEMS and skips the pet picker.
- Every pet has 1 item slot. Equipping consumes the copy from the bag.
- A charm only works while its pet is equipped (or activated, for elusive and limited pets). Items on benched pets, and on pets burnt out on a hot board, contribute nothing.
- Removing an item deletes it. The game's own warning: "There is no way to refund or move items — removing is permanent." Putting a new item on a full pet deletes the old one the same way.
- Charms never travel with a traded pet: the receiver gets a clean copy and the sender keeps the pet and its items (see pet trading).
- Spare copies sitting in the bag can be salvaged for
2,500 Pet Essence each (tap the item → SALVAGE, twice). Worn items cannot be salvaged.
Where charms come from
Charms fall in BALL RUSH (the ARCADE machine's MEGA WIN) among the storm balls and have to be caught with the tray, up to two per run. The Coin Charm is a standard drop at every stake; the Jackpot Charm is one of the three legendary finds and needs stake ×10 or higher. The stake-by-stake odds table is on the pet-items page.
Retired charms
The stronger coin, gold-ball and portal tiers were retired; any copy you owned was converted to its Bronze equivalent automatically:
| Retired charm | Converted to |
|---|---|
Plume Charm,
Starboard Charm,
Ascendant Charm came from a removed minigame and have no effect any more; they can be salvaged for 2,500 essence.
