Menu & HUD

A tour of the screen: the top bar, the launch bar, the pet row and bag, the ARCADE / BOARD / HOARD tabs, the MENU hub and its sections, full-page menus and the WELCOME BACK card.

Overview

Version 3 rebuilt the interface around two fixed bars and full-page menus. The top bar is who you are and what you hold; the bottom bar is where you are and the way into everything else. This page walks the screen from top to bottom.

Top bar

The top bar is opaque and stays put on every screen — the board, the Arcade machine and the Hoard all wear the same one. Rewards fly into the pills: icons burst from wherever the reward came from, the number rolls up as they land, and a running +amount badge hangs under the bar for a moment.

PartWhat it shows and does
Profile circleYour character's head on a disc of your chosen colour. Tap it for YOUR PROFILE: the PROFILE tab switches between the boy and girl body and sets your PROFILE CIRCLE COLOR, and the TITLES tab picks the title you wear. Looks themselves are picked in MENU → SKINS.
Level & XPTwo rows. On top, your Prestige Points with, in brackets, what a prestige would add right now. Underneath, your player level on a medallion riding a green XP bar that reads XP have / need; it turns gold and reads XP LEVEL CAPPED at the cap (10 + 5 per gate broken). A level-up pops the medallion. Tap the widget to open PRESTIGE — for a new account it opens with the intro task for level 10.
Coins over gemsThe first currency column. Tap the gem pill to jump to the Shop's gem aisle. In the pet workshops (salvage, fusion, evolution) the coin slot shows Pet Essence instead.
Gold balls over ballsThe second column: gold balls feed pets, balls are what LAUNCH spends.
☰The drawer: PLAYER PROFILE · MAIL · REFERRALS · REWARD CODES · EVENT HISTORY · SHOP · WIKI · REPORT · SETTINGS · MAIN MENU. The Trophy Case row that used to be here went with the trophy system.

Over the board

Between the bars is the board itself. A few things sit over it:

  • INTRO TASKS bar — new accounts only, until all 25 tasks are claimed. One task at a time, with a tab reading done / total, a progress count and the reward. Tap for a hint; when it is done, COMPLETE TASK hangs underneath and says what it UNLOCKS. → Intro tasks
  • WORLD tile on the left edge — the globe of the world you are on. Tap it for the world map: hop between unlocked worlds and see every lock's progress. → Worlds
  • Event tiles on the right edge — they appear only while something is running: this week's tournament, Bingo, the Cake Party. Each shows its countdown and a red dot when there is something to claim.
  • The lock door beside the bins shows the next world's remaining lock HP.

The world's painted background is decoded while the loading screen is still up, so the board appears complete on its first frame rather than filling in a moment after you press PLAY.

Launch bar

Under the board, centred and never wider than a phone:

PartWhat it shows and does
LAUNCHThe big button. The word sits on top; under it is one dark info strip with your ball count against your cap, the regeneration timer, any active ball boost, and the TAP / AUTO switch . On AUTO it fires a ball every 0.5 s (faster with every Launch Speed row on the Marquee — 34% by the top of the ladder) and the button becomes a red STOP. Up to 100 balls can be in play.
QUESTSDaily quests and the weekly chest track. A red dot means something is claimable. Locked until the intro tasks are finished. → Daily Quests
RANKSOpens SOCIAL on the hiscores: players, guilds, Boss Raid and Ball Grove boards, plus friends, gifts and your guild. A red dot means a friend request or a gift is waiting. → Hiscores, Friends

The Hoard has the same two tiles beside its own action button, so quests and ranks are one tap away from either screen.

Pet row and the bag

Below the launch bar is the row of pets equipped in this world. Its tabs switch between REGULAR, ELUSIVE and LIMITED pets; the 1 / 2 / 3 buttons swap saved loadouts once the Marquee has opened them; and at the end of the row is the bag button .

The bag is a small pop-up that floats over the board while it keeps running: three sprite tabs (candy, potions, pet items), a 5 × 3 grid of item and count, and page arrows instead of scrolling. To put a pet item on a pet, tap the item once to arm it — the pet row glows gold — then tap the pet. The Arcade machine has the same bag on its left rail.

Bottom bar

The bottom bar stands on the edge of the screen on a plum strip with a pink rule. It is identical, slot for slot, on the board, in the Arcade and in the Hoard.

ButtonWhat it does
ARCADE BOARD HOARDThe three scene tabs — the three places the game can be. They are one joined strip in the centre; the one you are standing in is wider, taller, lit blue and the only one wearing its name. BOARD on the board simply closes any open page. The HOARD tab carries a small chip with the gate attack timer, which turns green when an attack is ready. New accounts open ARCADE and HOARD through the intro tasks.
MENUThe hub described below. It pulses while an intro task is pointing at one of its tiles.
SHOPThe green button: the Shop. A red dot means the free gift is ready.
Red XCloses the page on screen. It only appears while a closable page is up, and it keeps its own slot so nothing shifts when it does. Tapping the button of the page that is already open closes it too.
Pinned menusUp to 2 MENU tiles of your choice, left of the X's slot. In the MENU, tap PIN, tap up to 2 tiles (tap a pinned one again to unpin it), then DONE. A pinned menu is its tile's own box and picture, and a tap opens it exactly as the tile does; tap it again to close its page. On a narrow phone the bar's buttons narrow a little to make room for the pins. Pins are saved on the device you set them on.

The MENU hub

MENU is a grid of small icon tiles, four to a row, grouped under section labels. It replaced the old MIDWAY button and absorbed almost every button that used to sit on the HUD: pets, albums, the Pet Crates, every mode and every workshop.

  • Locked tiles show their sprite faintly under a padlock, with a chip saying what opens them: a gate number, TASKS for an intro task, or a level.
  • A red dot on a tile means something is waiting inside.
  • While an intro task points at a tile, that tile wears a breathing ring.
  • THE HOARD and the ARCADE are not in the hub — they are scene tabs on the bottom bar. The bag is not here either; it is the button at the end of the pet row.

Full-page menus

Every menu is a full page pinned between the top bar and the bottom bar, as wide as the board column and slightly see-through so the board shows behind it. There is no slide or fade — a page is simply there.

  • Each page has a header band with its icon and title. The icon is the tile you tapped to get there; a page opened from another page (a pet's own card, a world's pet crate) inherits the icon of the page it came from.
  • The top bar stays live under a page, so you can watch currencies change while you spend them.
  • Close a page with the red X on the bottom bar. Pages opened over the Arcade or the Hoard close the same way.
  • Switching from one page to another never flashes the board: the new page is painted first and the old one is removed after.
  • Small confirmations ("Spend 500 gems?") stay small, centred pop-ups.
  • Only two things take the whole screen as separate scenes: the ARCADE machine and THE HOARD. Boss Raid and Ball Grove lobbies are pages; a started run takes the screen until it ends.

Welcome back

Coming back to the board after at least a minute away opens the WELCOME BACK card instead of a one-line toast:

  • a banner painted with the art of the title you wear, with your character standing on the right;
  • your game completion on an animated bar;
  • a flip-clock of how long you were away;
  • the haul as loot tiles that pop in one after another: balls regenerated (counting up, or FULL at your cap), balls IN THE FACTORY waiting to be collected, and the chests your hoard cracked, by tier (COMMON CHEST, RARE CHEST, LEGENDARY CHEST, MYTHIC CHEST, CHAMPION CHEST).

One CONFIRM closes it. The balls are already in your wallet when the card opens; factory balls and chests still need collecting in their own screens. → Offline earnings
