Ball Factory
Gumball machines that turn bars into balls while you are away. Each machine needs a worker pet and a load of bars; better pets and better bars fill it faster.
Overview
The BALL FACTORY is a floor of gumball machines that make balls while you are away. Each machine is a workbench: a pet stands at it and forges bars into balls, which pile up in the machine's hopper until you claim them. A machine with no pet, or no bars, makes nothing.
Any pet works a machine at the machine's normal pace. A good worker — purple stars, an evolution, a FORGE nature — works it up to 2.88× faster, and better bars fill the hopper faster still.
The machines
Coin bays are bought in order, and the later ones also need their world unlocked on the board. The two premium bays cost gems, not money — they are the FACTORY MACHINE row of the Shop's GEM UPGRADES (and can be bought from the factory floor too), need no world, and are bought in order. Anyone who bought one while they were paid items keeps it. Every bay has its own machine art; a machine's level shows as its frame (brass, chrome, neon, gold).

Levels
A machine levels from 1 to 10 with coins. Even levels open storage — the hopper is a 5 × 2 grid of slots behind glass panes, each open slot holding one stack of 200 balls — and odd levels add speed. The numbers below are for a plain worker forging the first bar in the game (Tin), with no items, fuel, gears or gumballs.
| Level | Adds | Open slots | Storage | Speed | Time per ball | Balls / hour | Empty → full | Upgrade price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lv 1 | — | 1 / 10 | 200 | ×1 | 4m 33s | 13.2 | 15h 9m | bay price |
| Lv 2 | STORAGE | 2 / 10 | 400 | ×1 | 4m 33s | 13.2 | 1d 6h | 64% of bay value |
| Lv 3 | SPEED | 2 / 10 | 400 | ×1.19 | 3m 49s | 15.7 | 1d 1h | 83% of bay value |
| Lv 4 | STORAGE | 3 / 10 | 600 | ×1.19 | 3m 49s | 15.7 | 1d 14h | 108% of bay value |
| Lv 5 | SPEED | 3 / 10 | 600 | ×1.41 | 3m 13s | 18.6 | 1d 8h | 140% of bay value |
| Lv 6 | STORAGE | 4 / 10 | 800 | ×1.41 | 3m 13s | 18.6 | 1d 18h | 182% of bay value |
| Lv 7 | SPEED | 4 / 10 | 800 | ×1.68 | 2m 42s | 22.2 | 1d 12h | 237% of bay value |
| Lv 8 | STORAGE | 5 / 10 | 1,000 | ×1.68 | 2m 42s | 22.2 | 1d 21h | 308% of bay value |
| Lv 9 | SPEED | 5 / 10 | 1,000 | ×2 | 2m 16s | 26.4 | 1d 13h | 400% of bay value |
| Lv 10 | STORAGE | 6 / 10 | 1,200 | ×2 | 2m 16s | 26.4 | 1d 21h | 520% of bay value |
Upgrade prices are a percentage of the bay's value, so a late bay's upgrades cost far more than an early one's:
| Machine | Bay value | To Lv 2 | To Lv 6 | To Lv 10 |

| Twin Globe | ||||
| Aurora | ||||
| Flora | ||||

The worker pet
Tap the WORKER card on a machine's bench to pick a pet. A working pet is busy: it cannot also be on the board or on an expedition, and it cannot be traded until you take it off the bench (One pet, one job). It can still stand in the Hoard, which takes any pet. Moving a pet between machines is allowed.
Work speed is the pet's work power — the same number the Hoard and the mines read — scaled so that the best pet there is (a Lv 200 evolved 3★ mythic with three purple stars) works at 105% of the pace a machine ran at before it needed a pet. Every step helps:
- Rarity and level (to 200 once evolved), fusion stars, purple stars from Ball Grove amplification, evolved and shiny.
- The spread is softened (power to the 0.5), so a brand-new pet still runs a machine at about 42%.
- Then the pet's nature multiplies the total: ×1.15 if it raises FORGE (Fiery, Crafty, Patient), ×0.9 if it lowers it (Earthy, Nimble, Rowdy).
| Worker | Work speed |
|---|---|
| Lv 1 common | 42% |
| Lv 100 common, 3★ | 54% |
| Lv 100 rare, 3★ | 61% |
| Lv 100 legendary, 3★ | 70% |
| Lv 100 mythic, 3★ | 76% |
| Lv 200 evolved legendary, 3★, 3 purple stars | 97% |
| Lv 200 evolved mythic, 3★, 3 purple stars | 105% |
| The same mythic with a FORGE nature | 121% |
| Plain pet with a nature that lowers FORGE | 38% |
The worst possible worker still runs at 38%. Work speed multiplies everything else the machine has — its level, Production Upgrades, fuel and Power Gears.
Bars
Tap the BARS card to load a machine with any bar you have crafted. The worker forges them one action at a time. An action always takes the time 10 balls take at the machine's speed — but a better bar makes more balls per action, so the hopper fills faster. The first bar (Tin) makes 10 balls an action and every step up the bar ladder makes one more, to 39 for Embersteel — ×3.9 the speed.
Storage does not change with the bar. A machine holds at most one full hopper's worth of actions, so loading is a trip you make each time you claim, not a silo you fill once. One action eats 1 bar, in every world.
| Bar | World | Balls / action | Fill speed | Bars / action | Full load, Lv 1 (actions) | Full load, Lv 10 (actions) | |

Collecting
Balls pile up in the hopper, stack by stack, until it is full — then the machine stops. Tap a machine and CLAIM to move them to your ball wallet; claiming also spends the bars those balls were made from. The factory tile and nav button show a dot when a machine is full. A machine that is standing still says why on its card: NEEDS A PET or LOAD BARS.
Machine upgrades and fuel
Every ball a machine makes rolls for these drops. Machine upgrades sit in a machine's two item slots and stack (two Production Upgrades = +20%). Fuel is a one-use can burnt on one machine: it boosts production for 2h (Premium Fuel for 6h). You can queue as many cans as you like; they burn one after another. A machine only drops its own world's fuel.
| Item | Kind | Effect | Drop chance per ball | Drops from | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Production Upgrade | UPGRADE SLOT | +10% production on this machine | 0.005% (1 in 20,000) | Any machine | |
| Storage Upgrade | UPGRADE SLOT | +10% storage on this machine | 0.005% (1 in 20,000) | Any machine | |
| Gem Spreader | UPGRADE SLOT | Every 100 balls this machine makes bank a gem | 0.001% (1 in 100,000) | Any machine | |

| Aurora Fuel | FUEL | +20% production for 2 hours | 0.1% (1 in 1,000) | World 2 machine | |
| Flora Fuel | FUEL | +30% production for 2 hours | 0.1% (1 in 1,000) | World 3 machine | |
| Maelstrom Fuel | FUEL | +40% production for 2 hours | 0.1% (1 in 1,000) | World 4 machine | |
| Inferno Fuel | FUEL | +50% production for 2 hours | 0.1% (1 in 1,000) | World 5 machine | |
| Premium Fuel | FUEL | +50% production for 6 hours | 0.1% (1 in 1,000) | Premium bays |
A Gem Spreader banks 1
gem for every 100 balls the machine makes, in its own hopper slot, claimed with the balls.
Shiny Gumballs, Power Gears and artifacts
Shiny Gumballs — one per world (5 in all). Every ball a coin machine makes has a 0.004% (1 in 25,000) chance to be its world's Shiny Gumball (World 1 has two machines rolling for it; premium machines never roll). Each one found makes every machine hold +10% more, up to ×1.5.
Power Gears — one per world (5 in all), a 0.001% (1 in 100,000) drop from real ball landings on that world's board. Each gear makes every machine +10% faster, up to ×1.5.- Hoard artifacts GEAR GREASE and WIDE HOPPER multiply factory speed and storage again.
Tips
- Put a pet on every machine you own the moment you unlock the factory — any pet works, and an empty bench earns nothing.
- Your factory workers should be pets you do not need elsewhere: rarity and level are wasted here, so a low-rarity pet with purple stars or a FORGE nature is ideal.
- Feed the best bar you can spare. The hopper fills faster, and the machine needs fewer actions for a full load.
- Claim and reload before a long break so no machine sits full or dry.
- Save fuel for your highest-level machines; the boost is a percentage of what the machine already makes.
